Driven by our mission to “bring groundbreaking transformation to endovascular treatment in Japan,” we have continually taken on new challenges.
Cerebral aneurysms, a primary cause of subarachnoid hemorrhage, are conditions that, once ruptured, can severely impact a patient’s life and quality of life (QOL). While conventional flow diverter (FD) stents are highly effective, they pose several concerns—such as the risk of blocking branch vessels and the potential for postoperative re-rupture.

In response to these issues, we have established an optimal treatment plan according to the cerebral vascular structure and the shape of the aneurysm with a completely new approach, utilizing a treatment planning program with virtual stent function and computational fluid analysis (CFD) technology.

In August 2022, we obtained domestic approval for the 100% domestically produced “PENTAS stent” and its associated treatment planning program (virtual stent and CFD function), making it possible to perform simulations and visualize stents before and during surgery. We are currently working on further product improvements in preparation for the launch of sales in 2025.

Our efforts go beyond mere product development. We are committed to creating solutions that reflect physicians’ technical needs and delivering treatments tailored to each patient. We firmly believe this will enable safer and more reliable stent therapies, ultimately contributing to enhanced QOL for patients. These initiatives also challenge the dominance of foreign-made products in Japan’s domestic market and embody our belief in contributing to healthcare through truly homegrown technology.

We will continue to provide value to society through the development of innovative and trustworthy medical devices.
We sincerely hope for your continued understanding and support.
